ChineseFace Terms of Service: who may use Chinese Face Reading, accounts, payments and refunds, photo rules, and what a reading can and cannot tell you.

ChineseFace offers Chinese Face Reading from your photo: a description of visible facial features together with educational content about the Chinese face-reading tradition. By accessing or using the service at chineseface.app, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms.
You may sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. Email support@chineseface.app right away about unauthorized use or security issues.
You can cancel a subscription in your account settings or by email. Canceling stops future renewals only. After 48 hours, the current period's paid fee is not refunded.
Limited free preview. The free preview is limited. It is not unlimited free use.
Credits and subscriptions. We sell one-time reading credits and a monthly subscription. A credit unlocks one full reading. Purchases are governed by the terms shown at checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe.
Within 48 hours. If you bought credits or a subscription within the last 48 hours, including a renewal, we refund the credits from that purchase you have not used as cash, proportionally: (amount paid for that purchase ÷ credits granted by that purchase) × unused credits from that purchase, minus the payment processing fee for that payment. We do not deduct that fee from a refund for a duplicate charge, a paid purchase where the credits or subscription did not arrive, a confirmed malfunction, or a remedy required by law. Details are in the Refund Policy.
Credits already used. Credits already used by unlocking a reading successfully are not refunded as cash, even within 48 hours.
After 48 hours. After 48 hours, there is generally no cash refund for dislike of results, change of mind, or realizing the purchase was a mistake after using credits.
Our technical failure. If unlocking a reading fails because of our technical error, we restore the credits. This is not a cash refund and is not limited to 48 hours.
What you can ask us to review. These requests are not limited to 48 hours. Refunds follow the Refund Policy. You may email support@chineseface.app to ask for a review when: charged twice for the same purchase; paid but credits or the subscription did not arrive after a reasonable wait; a confirmed malfunction blocked a paid reading; or consumer law requires a remedy. We reply within 5 to 7 business days. Approved cash refunds go back to the original payment method when possible. We do not control how long your bank takes to show the refund.
Canceling a subscription. You can cancel a subscription at any time in your account settings or by emailing support@chineseface.app. Canceling stops future renewals only. Subscription charges themselves are covered by the 48-hour rule above. After 48 hours, the current period's paid fee is not refunded.
Price changes. Price changes apply to new purchases.
Upload only photos of yourself, taken when you were 18 or older. You must have the right to use the photo. Do not upload photos of other people, children, or public figures, and do not upload other people's private images without permission. Do not upload nude, sexual, or violent images. You keep the rights you already have in your photo and give us permission to process it solely to create your reading.
Do not break the law.
Do not use the service to identify, track, or profile anyone.
Do not hack, overload (including denial-of-service), scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the service.
Do not send malware or spam.
Do not harass, defame, or impersonate anyone.
A reading describes visible appearance and explains a cultural tradition. Chinese face reading is not science. A reading does not assess character, intelligence, health, attractiveness, relationships, finances, or the future, and it is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Do not use it to make decisions about yourself or anyone else. Descriptions are produced with the help of an AI model and can be wrong, for example because of lighting, camera angle, or covered areas.
We own the service's software, design, knowledge base, and branding. You keep the rights you already have in your photo.
An external AI model provider processes your photo to fulfill your request. Speed, quality, and provider can change over time. Payments are processed through Stripe. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. An email provider sends account and support messages. Google is offered only as a sign-in option.
If these terms are broken, we may suspend or terminate your account or restrict access. If your account is suspended or terminated, refunds still follow the Refund Policy and the law.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any specific purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
We may update these terms by publishing the revised document on this page. Continued use after the date on this page changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
